The Family Reunion is one the most anticipated traditions celebrated from culture to culture with love, laughter and great memories but this family has some unparalleled unresolved issues and skeletons within the family that may break that tradition forever!

Miracle on Easy Street will return to Powers Auditorium for three performances December 13-15. The holiday season song and dance revue is a Mahoning Valley tradition that is celebrating it’s 35th year! The high-spirited show features scores of dancers, live music and vocalists. Easy Street Productions co-founders Maureen Collins and Todd Hancock will again serve as hosts of “Miracle,” joining more than 100 singers, dancers and Little Rascals youth troupe members. Featured performers will include James McClellan, Colleen Chance, Katy Collins and Candace Campana. Cortney MacKay, a “Miracle” alumnus, will return as a soloist. Musical Director, Don Yallech, will lead the Easy Street Little Big Band. The dancers, led by choreographer Megan Cleland, represent studios across the Valley.

Performances will take place at 7:30pm Friday, December 13, and Saturday, December 14; and 2:30pm Sunday, December 15. Tickets range from $35 to $19 (plus fees) and can be purchased in advance at deyorpac.org, by calling the DeYor box office at 330-259-9651, or at the box office before each performance.

The evening features Herrmann’s intense Psycho Suite, the serene beauty of Massenet’s Meditation from Thaïs, and the dynamic rhythms of Milhaud’s Concerto for Percussion and Small Orchestra. The night culminates with Beethoven’s Symphony No. 3, a work that redefined the symphonic genre with its revolutionary spirit and profound depth.

The Youngstown Symphony Orchestra presents Shakespeare in Love: Romeo and Juliet on Saturday, February 15 at 7:30pm at the DeYor Performing Arts Center. This captivating program, featuring soprano Avery Boettcher, traverses the emotional landscapes of love and fate through music. Beginning with Tchaikovsky’s powerful Romeo and Juliet Fantasy Overture, the evening continues with evocative arias by Gounod, Verdi, Puccini, and others, highlighting Avery’s vocal range and expressiveness. The performance concludes with Prokofiev’s selections from Romeo and Juliet, finishing a night replete with the most impassioned pieces of classical music.
