Youngstown State University Cliffe College of Creative Arts and Communication hosts over 400 events annually including dozens of art exhibits, major theatrical productions, and more than one hundred musical events. There are two theaters located in Bliss Hall: Ford Theater (a 400-seat proscenium stage), and the flexible-capacity Spotlight Arena Theater. Founded over 140 years ago, the Dana School of Music is one of the oldest music schools in the United States. Musical events are held at various locations, including historic Stambaugh Auditorium and the DeYor Performing Arts Center.
