GET INTO THE YOUNGSTOWN SPIRIT
Don’t miss out on all the holiday fun that Youngstown has to offer!
Embracing Holiday Traditions
There’s nothing quite like a wintertime craft show or holiday display! Fire-roasted chestnuts, handmade gifts, and festive entertainment create the perfect traditional holiday atmosphere. Oh, and did we mention Santa will be there?! Be sure to check out Memories of Christmas Past at The Arms Family Museum and The 51st Annual American Holiday at Butler Art.
See the Lights
The sun sets early this time of year, but that’s just more opportunity to enjoy beautiful holiday light displays! Mark your calendar to visit well-known community favorites like the Winter Nights at Fellows Riverside Gardens, the Elegant Illusions Christmas Lights Drive-Through at the Canfield Fairgrounds and the drive-through Holiday Light Display at Boardman Park.
Enjoy Live Performances
The holidays wouldn’t be complete without seasonal live performances and concerts! Youngstown plays host to the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, A Motown Christmas, Black Violin, TubaChristmas, A Rockapella Christmas, and the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra. Nothing rings in the holiday season quite like Ballet Western Reserve’s The Nutcracker and Miracle on Easy Street!
Fun for the Whole Family
Celebrate the season with some family fun! Get tickets for Disney on Ice, returning to the Covelli Centre in early December. Or, enjoy Breakfast with Santa, take in the holiday shows at Ward Beecher Planetarium, and go ice skating at DeBartolo Commons. Plus, with unique shopping at White House Fruit Farm’s Winter Gift Barn, you can check off items from your Christmas lists, too!
WHY YOUNGSTOWN?
