YSU Concert Band & Wind Ensemble

The YSU Concert Band & Wind Ensemble will join forces with local high school instrumentalists, under the direction of Dr. Brandt Payne and Dr. Stephen L. Gage, for the first concert of the 2019-2020 academic year. It its third year, the Side-By-Side Concert will open with the YSU Concert Band, followed by the YSU Wind Ensemble, featuring songs “Asphalt Cocktail” and “Festival Variations”, in addition to others. After a short intermission, the Wind Ensemble will perform “One Life Beautiful” and “Variations on a Korean Folk Song”.
