YSU 2023 Partnership Performance with Struthers High School and YSU Concert Band will take place on Monday, February 27, at 7:30pm at Stambaugh Auditorium.
Thirty-seven students from the Struthers High School Concert band will take the stage under the direction of Mr. Joshua Hawkins. Selections will include “Beyond Reach” by Adrian Sims; “In a Quiet Place” by Bill Calhoun; and “Rough-Riders” by Karl L. King, arraigned by Swearingen.
The YSU Concert Band led by Director Dr. Kate Ferguson will include “Symphonic Dance #3 ‘Fiesta’” by Clifton Williams, conducted by Ben Pickard; “Courtly Airs and Dances” by Ron Nelson, conducted by Brennan Rivers; “Chasing Sunlight” by Cait Nishimura; and “Fusion” by Brian Balmages.
