The 49th annual Youngstown Peace Race takes place on Sunday, October 8, 2023. The event includes a 200-Meter Kids Fun Run, 2-Mile Run/Walk and 10K Run.
Packet pick-up takes place on Thursday, October 5 at Eastwood Mall Center Court from 4-8pm and on Friday, October 6 and Saturday, October 7 at Second Sole in Boardman from 11am-5pm. Race day registration and packet pick-up will take place the Downtown YMCA from 7:30am-9:00am.
The Kids Fun Run begins at 9:00am and starts on Federal Plaza in Downtown Youngstown.
The 2-Mile Move Our Mission Run/Walk begins at 9:30am on Federal Plaza in Downtown Youngstown.
The 10K begins at 10:00am and the start line drop off area is located at Kirkmere Elementary School. 10K Runners must pick up packets before going to Kirkmere. The 10K will follow a fast point-to-point course starting from Kirk Rd. & S. Schenley Ave. intersection, winding through scenic Mill Creek Park. Shuttle service will start at 7:30am at the downtown YMCA to transport 10K runners to the starting line. The last bus leaves at 9:00am.
All races finish at the monument at the intersection of Federal Plaza & Wick Ave. under the finish line banner.
