April 2024 BB Graphic

Mahoning Valley Historical Society will feature local author, Joseph Lambert, at Tyler History Center on Thursday, April 18 for this month’s Bites and Bits of History at noon. Lambert will explore David Tod’s career from his days as a local attorney to his time as Ohio’s Governor in the first years of the Civil War. His novel, “The Political Transformation of David Tod,” chronicles Tod’s unwavering support for the Union and describes the importance of one politician’s loyalty to country over partisanship.

Bring your lunch and join them in the Tyler History Center’s Thomas Ballroom for this free educational event. Bites and Bits of History Lunchtime programs are sponsored by the John and Loretta Hynes Foundation.
