Rooster Run/Walk begins at 8:00am. Registration is a $20.00 entry fee, and includes event shirt and wrist band admission into the fair. Sign ups after August 23rd are not guaranteed a race shirt. On-line registrations will be accepted until August 30th and will include wristband but no shirt guarantee. Race day registrations will be taken and will include wristband but no shirt.
Peep Creep Kids Fun Run begins at 8:45am. Registration is $10.00. Open to any youth under age 9. All youth will receive a Rooster Run Medallion.
Race location is the Canfield Fairgrounds. Parking and entrance will be at gate 3 on Fairground Blvd. Packet pick up will be Saturday, August 31st at Second Sole in Boardman from 11:00am-1:00pm or in front of the Junior Fair office at the fairgrounds from 6:00pm-8:00pm (no fair admission given for packet pick up). Race day pickup/sign up will be from 7:00am-7:45am at gate 3. Awards age groups will be 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69 and 70 & over. Timing and awards are being handled by Second Sole.
All proceeds from this race will be used to support the Mahoning County Junior Fair through building and equipment improvements.
