The Youngstown Playhouse presents Pass Over in the Moyer Room, April 14-23, 2023.
Pass Over, written by Antoinette Chinonye Nwandu, takes the audience into the lives of two African American males who spend day and night on the curbside under a street lamp post passing the time, and hoping that maybe today will be different. As they dream of their promised land, a stranger wanders into their space with his own agenda and causes unnecessary trouble. Emotional and lyrical, Pass Over exposes the raw spirit of these young men stuck in a cycle just looking for a way out.
Performances are Friday, April 14, Saturday, April 15, Friday, April 21, and Saturday, April 22 at 7:30pm; and Sunday, April 16 & 23 at 2:30pm.
