On Sunday, November 11, two of the area’s largest community events — Namaste in the YO and Youngstown Flea are combining forces to shed a positive light on the city of Youngstown. Namaste in the YO is a FREE Yoga event, drawing in hundreds of participants to celebrate the Youngstown community and Yogis alike. The Youngstown Flea brings it’s community of incredibly creative artisans to showcase their goods to create an amazing shopping experience for YSU campus students, yoga participants and community residents alike.
Namaste in the YO (Yoga 6:30pm-7:30pm):
This annual event was created to bring together the Youngstown community in order to promote positivity and holistic wellbeing. We would love you to join us for the uplifting event to help you bring a sense of stress relief and mindfulness development.
The Youngstown Flea (Shopping 5:00pm-9:00pm):
Established as an outdoor, open-air vendors market – The Youngstown Flea occurs seasonally, (once a month from April to October) in the heart of the city, next to the Covelli Centre. The “Namaste in the Yo. + Youngstown Flea” event is an indoor extension of the outdoor market that has been wildly attended and welcomed by the community.
The event will be held at the WATTS Center on the beautiful campus of Youngstown State University, and is free and open to the public. Interested participants are encouraged to reserve their FREE ticket for the yoga class at namaste18.ticketleap.com. In an effort to further contribute to the community, participants are encouraged to donate non perishable food items to be donated to the YSU student food pantry.
