SmashUp Entertainment will thrill and amuse audiences with the murder mystery dinner theatre comedy, Murder at the Monster Bash, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, October 10, 11 and 12 at 6:30pm at Magic Tree Pub and Eatery in Boardman. Billed as a “hilarious interactive murder mystery dinner theatre event,” Murder at the Monster Bash is written and directed by Boardman native Michael Dempsey, who is a professional comedy writer and director.
“Frankenstein, the Wolfman, Mr. Hyde, the Bride of Frankenstein and other monsters are throwing a surprise 600th deathday party for Dracula,” explained Dempsey. “Halloween monster bashes often end in mayhem – so you will have a haunted homicide to solve.”
The $50 ticket price is all-inclusive featuring a professional show, delicious three-course Magic Tree dinner created for the event, plus musical entertainment, games and prizes, and fantastic drink specials. Seating is limited and Dempsey warns not to wait to buy tickets, as their shows regularly sell out. Admission is 21 and older due to some adult humor and language. The cast includes many local favorites, including Tom O’Donnell, Terry Shears, Liz Conrad, Eric Kibler, Jenna Cintavey, Jeremiah Kibler, Jeanine Rees, James Ballor, Mark Frost, and a special guest appearance by Chuck Simon as “Robert Ghoulet.” Reservations can made online.
