Youngstown CityScape invites you to join them at the Nature’s Blossoms Florist pop-up shop! Shop hours will be Friday, April 28 through Saturday, May 13, from 10am- 5pm, and Mother’s Day Sunday, May 14, 10am-3pm at the greenhouse location, CityScape at Briel’s, 23 S. Belle Vista Avenue, Youngstown.
Twin sisters Daccine Benson and Danielle Harrell, both Choffin career horticulture students, are hosting this exciting floral adventure just in time for Mother’s Day. Come see fresh-cut posies, Mother’s Day specials, blooming plants, local artisan gifts, and much more, including a fun family gardening workshop with gnomes and fairies! These Youngstown sisters return full circle to where they started – Briel’s, where they were hired in the ‘80s to complete their horticulture degrees. The pair grew up in Youngstown, inspired by their parents’ art background, love of flowers, the outdoors, and passion for the arts. Through the years, they have worked with many area floral designers, gaining experience and an eye for design. “It’s like coming home where our roots started,” says Ms. Benson. “We are excited to create and be part of an educational space in the community,” noted Mrs. Harrell.
