The time has come! Mahoning Valley Historical Society presents the 16th Memories of Christmas Past exhibit at Arms Family Museum, November 16 through December 31. Enjoy seven different rooms, and 3 floors of vintage holiday cheer and décor. Volunteers and staff have been hard at work for three months preparing for this treasured holiday event.
Along with the displays, visitors can explore Santa’s Village (also known as the Hands on History Room) with many hands on activities for all ages. And, get a head start on holiday shopping with two gift shops filled with vintage and modern items for sale.
Admission for this event is: $10 for adults, $9 for seniors (60+) and college students with ID, $8 for children ages 3-18, free for children under 3, active military and veterans with ID, and MVHS members. Admission also includes a visit to Tyler History Center located at 325 West Federal Street, Youngstown, Ohio 44503.
From November 16 through November 24, in partnership with Project Feed our Valley, MVHS will offer a buy one get one free admission for bringing in a canned good donation.
Memories of Christmas Past is open Tuesday-Sunday from noon-4:00pm. Starting Thursday, December 5 MVHS will begin its Twilight Thursdays and will be open from noon-7:00 pm each Thursday until December 26. They are closed Mondays, and national holidays.
