League of Women Voters Education Event

The League of Women Voters of Greater Youngstown is hosting a presentation by Mahoning County Auditor Ralph Meacham on Understanding Levies and Bonds: A Complete Guide for Voters. The presentation is scheduled on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Main Branch of the Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, 305 Wick Avenue, Youngstown, from 6:00pm-7:30pm.

Eastgate Council of Governments will provide information about State Issue 2, on the May 6 ballot, including how this issue affects the Mahoning Valley. This is a proposed Constitutional Amendment to fund public infrastructure and capital improvements by permitting the issuance of general obligation bonds.
