First Fridays returns this April with an adults-only evening of science, color, and community at the OH WOW! Science Center! Join them on Friday, April 4, for Nerdy Night Out: “A Night Rooted in Color” where you’ll experience a playful and interactive night of hands-on activities, music, local vendors, and vibrant community engagement.
This month’s First Friday is a celebration of creativity, sustainability, and collaboration — and you’re invited to dive in, be colorful, and have a great time.
Evening Highlights:
Live Music – Ke’Von & the Vybes will bring smooth sounds and great energy from 5:30-7:30pm.
Eats & Treats – Enjoy the cash bar and local refreshments to fuel your fun.
Tabletop Game Station – From strategy games to silly fun, there’s something for every kind of nerd!
Activities & Exhibits – Explore interactive exhibits, colorful installations, and art experiences designed just for this event.

First Fridays is a downtown initiative by Downtown Youngstown Partnership, Youngstown CityScape, and the City of YOU, designed to bring people together to celebrate Youngstown’s vibrant arts, culture, and community spirit. This special 18+ edition promises a one-of-a-kind night where science meets style and fun meets meaning.

The night sky changes with the seasons and so does the Skywatch program. This LIVE traditional star talk covers the current night sky, constellation lore, and current astronomical events.
