Building A Better Belmont Initiative will host its third annual Bike Belmont event on Sunday, May 18, 2025. This FREE, family-friendly ride offers something for everyone! Beginning at 12:00pm, experienced riders can enjoy a 32-mile route from downtown to the Youngstown-Warren Regional Airport. This ride has around 550 feet of ascent and descent and will be ridden at a more brisk pace of 12 mph.
The general community can enjoy a 12-mile, police-escorted bike ride at a relaxed pace at 2:00pm. There is a total of almost 400 feet of ascent and descent over the ride.
Afterward, only registered riders will be guaranteed to receive a lunch catered by Daddy D’s BBQ at the B&O Banquet Hall. The Boxcar lounge will be open and music playing for a fun after party celebration!
Freebies: Bike bells and lights provided by Eastgate Regional Council of Governments.
Event T-shirts are available for purchase for $20 and will be provided to volunteers and sponsors.
Minors must be accompanied by adults. There will be multiple refreshment and bathroom stops along the ride.
