330 Day Concert – Summit WAPS-FM & – CANCELED

The Summit WAPS-FM & present the 5th annual 330 Day Concert, a free evening of acoustic music showcasing 33 of Northeast Ohio’s finest musicians, on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Stambaugh Auditorium in Youngstown. Doors open at 6:00pm with music starting at 7:00pm.

This unique event is free and open to the public and will feature stripped-down, acoustic performances from a veritable who’s who of Northeastern Ohio musicians, including Angie Haze Project, Black Wolf & The Thief, Brian Lisik, Broken Transmitter, The Building, Carlos Jones, Cave Twins, Demos Papadimas, Diamond Kites, Don Dixon & Marti Jones, East 9th, Hayden Brooke, Hey Monea, Hoss & The Juggernauts, JD Eicher, Indre’, The Labra Brothers, Lee Ann Binder, Leo D’Angelo, Marc Lee Shannon, Ohio Weather Band, The Outside Voices, Radio Lark, Ray Flanagan, Sam Goodwill, The Shootouts, Spirit of The Bear, Spy Convention, The Super Babes, The Vindys, Michael Weber, Whiskey Pilot & Yankee Bravo.

The Stambaugh Auditorium stage will be split in half for this event, offering two side-by-side performance spaces. While one group is performing, another will set up on the opposite side of the stage. The stage lights will alternate back and forth as each act plays one acoustic song. For the fifth year in a row, the event is being produced by The Shootouts lead singer and Summit Marketing & Event Coordinator Ryan Humbert.

In 2015, the cities of Akron, Youngstown and Canton officially designated March 30th as “330 Day” on behalf of The Summit, and their local-music-only radio station, The event takes place immediately following The Summit’s Spring Membership Drive, happening on-air from March 23rd through the 27th and raises funds for the continued operation of this non-profit, member-supported public radio station. The concert is a post-pledge drive celebration for the members and community that support the Summit.
