The Youngstown Summer Movie Series is back for the 2024 season. From June through August a series of movies will be shown on the lawn at Wean Park. Each movie is on a Monday and will start at 9:00pm. If there is a rainout, the movie will be shown the next day (Tuesday) at 9:00pm. Concessions will be for sale provided by Rayen Early College National Honor Society. This year the movie series is sponsored by The City of You, JAC Live, Wean Park, Appleridge Productions, and Penguin City Brewing Company.
The summer movie series schedule is as follows:
June 24 – Trolls Band Together (2023) – Season Opener
July 1 – Top Gun Maverick (2022)
July 5 – Barbie (2023) – First Friday Movie will be held at The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre
July 15 – Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (1984)
July 22 – Shrek 2 (2004)
July 29 – Jaws 2 (1978)
August 5 – The Little Mermaid (2023) – Season Closer
