Youngstown Press Club – Dorie Chevlen

Youngstown Press Club

Dorie Chevlen, a staff writer for The New York Times’ Wirecutter consumer product review website, will address a Youngstown Press Club gathering on April 4. Chevlen, who has roots in the Mahoning Valley, will appear as part of the club’s Speaker Series at a breakfast from 8-9:30am at Eastern Gateway Community College, 101 E. Federal St., in Room A108/109 in Thomas Humphrey Hall.

Her topic will be: “Who Cares? How to Write a Story That Gets Read.”

Reservations are required by March 29 and may be made at youngstownpressclub.com. Tickets are $15 for club members and $20 for non-members. The Youngstown Press Club was re-established in 2018 to promote journalism and other communication-related
professions in the Mahoning Valley.
