Mahoning Valley Historical Society will debut “Youngstalia: Italian Foodways in the Mahoning Valley” in its monthly Bites and Bits of History online video presentation at noon on Thursday, July 15, 2021. The program will explore the history of local Italian food, culture, and traditions.
The main presenter, Anthony Dion Mitzel, PhD, is an adjunct Professor of Linguistics, Language, and Culture at the University of Bologna, Italy and Executive Council member of the Italian American Studies Association.
