Steve Gurysh will speak as part of the Department of Art Lecture Series on Monday, March 23 at 5:10pm at the McDonough Museum of Art lecture hall.

Steve Gurysh is an artist based in Pittsburgh. He is a current fellow at the Frank-Ratchye STUDIO for Creative Inquiry and is the co-founder and director of The Drift, a platform for artistic production and research that explores bodies of water as a context, site, and material. Gurysh received his MFA from Carnegie Mellon University in 2013, and his recent projects have been exhibited at the Knockdown Center in Queens, NY; W139, Amsterdam; El Museo de la Ciudad, Querétaro, Mexico; La Société des Arts Technologiques, Montréal; The Engine Room, Wellington, New Zealand; and the center of the Allegheny River.
