OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology will be celebrating Pi Day a few days early. Due to the fact they will not be open on Tuesday, March 14, they have chosen to celebrate on Sunday, March 12 from 9:00am-3:00pm. During this special event WOW! Pals will celebrate Einstein’s birthday and the peculiar number pi all day with contest and hands-on activities! They are offering a single $3.14 admission to any visitors that bring in one pre-packaged pie. All pies will be donated to the Rescue Mission of Mahoning Valley at the end of the day.
For a special treat, there is a chance to pie their executive director, Marvin L. Logan Jr., in exchange for a donation to help support educational programs at OH WOW! Sunday afternoon.
