Due to Governor DeWine’s statewide ban on all mass gatherings of 100 or more, Easy Street Productions regretfully announces the postponement of “Nunsense” March 27-29. To all those who have already purchased tickets, we ask for your patience while we work with the DeYor PAC staff to reschedule our performances to a later date. The Little Sisters of Hoboken will be back, so please hold on to your tickets! You will all be contacted individually about the new dates, and we’ll all enjoy some laughs together once the ban has finally been lifted.
Easy Street Productions proudly presents Nunsense, a hilarious spoof by Dan Goggin about the misadventures of five nuns trying to manage a fundraiser. Sadly, the rest of the sisterhood died from botulism after eating vichyssoise prepared by Sister Julia, Child of God. Thus, the remaining nuns – Mother Superior Sister Regina (Maureen Collins), mistress of the novices Sister Mary Hubert (Carla D. Gipson), street-wise Sister Robert Anne (Colleen Chance) befuddled Sister Mary Amnesia (Brandy Johanntges), and ballet-loving Sister Leo (Elizabeth Amstutz) – stage a talent show in order to raise the money to bury their dearly departed. Featuring star turns, tap and ballet dancing, an audience quiz, and comic surprises, this show has become an international phenomenon!
One weekend only! Performances are Friday, March 27 at 7:30pm; Saturday, March 28 at 7:30pm; and Sunday, March 29 at 2:30pm.
