Jim Marter Yard – Train Museum

Jim Marter Yard

The Mahoning Valley Railroad Heritage Association will open the Jim Marter Yard (Train Museum) Saturday, September 11, from 10am-2pm. This is the last regularly scheduled Saturday so they are planning to have some items on display that are normally in storage. They will also have several cars open for visitors to go inside including the Pittsburgh & Lake Erie caboose #506 & the 1941 Davenport switcher locomotive. The address is 1340 Poland Ave, Youngstown, OH 44502. The admission charge is $2 (5 & under free). For more information, visit their Facebook page or website.
