The Dana School of Music will host a Music at Noon concert on Thursday, October 8, at noon on Harrison Common Field on Walnut Street (across from the MVR). The event is free and open to the public.
Featuring the YSU Wind Ensemble, conducted by Yukitada Onitsuka, tuba and euphonium studio faculty and Sean Yancer, horn studio faculty, the concert will include music by Alfred Reed, Richard Strauss and Gustav Holst.
Physical distancing according to CDC guidelines will be enforced and facemasks must be worn. Patrons are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket and their own snacks to enjoy the concert. Parking is available for a nominal fee in the M-32 surface parking lot next to Harrison Common or in the Wick Avenue parking deck for a nominal fee.
