Join the Mahoning Valley Historical Society on Thursday, April 21 for their Bites and Bits of History. Traci Manning, MVHS Curator of Education, will present “100 Years at 325”. This free presentation begins at noon at the Tyler History Center.
April 1922 marked the opening of Harry Burt’s landmark Youngstown location at 325 West Federal Street. This expansion offered his confectionary business the needed space to become an anchor building downtown with unprecedented growth. The building itself featured a long list of innovative and unique settings for retail, casual and fine dining, and manufacturing.
