The Donald P. Pipino Performing Arts Series at Youngstown State University presents Ann Duhamel on April 20, 2023 at 7:30pm in the Installation Gallery at the McDonough Museum of Art.
Pianist Ann DuHamel’s performances have been praised as poetic and “. . . a delight for the ears and the soul.” (Encuentro Universitario Internacional de Saxofón, Mexico City) Ann actively champions contemporary composers, and her latest project, Prayers for a Feverish Planet, features 60 new works for piano and piano/electronics about climate change. She has performed and presented in 16 countries on 4 continents and was lauded by the New York Concert Review as “outstanding . . . playing with power and assurance.”
