White House Fruit Farm’s Fall Festivities

As the air turns cool, apples turn crisp and leaves turn colors, White House Fruit Farm gears up for their busiest and favorite time of year – FALL! In addition to their famous blueberry donuts and rich fudge, the farm will host its Fall Celebration Weekends beginning September 9 & 10, until the last weekend in October. These festivals include tons of family-friendly events that you won’t want to miss this fall season.

The Festivities

With fresh produce and homemade donuts (September’s featured flavors are Pumpkin Iced and Pumpkin Cinnamon) waiting just inside, the real fun will be happening outside! Every weekend, the farm offers:

  • Horse Drawn Wagon rides
  • Petting zoo
  • Pony rides
  • Kids’ play area
  • Food vendors
  • Cameron the crawl-through Caterpillar
  • Kettle Corn
  • Caramel Apples
  • Flowers from the Lutz Greenhouse
  • Pumpkin Pavilion and Gift Barn (featuring pumpkins and fall decorations)
  • Professional Fall Portraits by the lake with FJPortraits

In the midst of their Fall Celebration Weekends, White House Fruit Farm will also be hosting other great events like Master Carver Ron Roberts, who transforms pumpkins into works of art, and the “Scare Away Hunger Scarecrow Decoration and Display Contest”, a competition aimed at raising money for the local food pantry. About White House Fruit Farm

White House Fruit Farm has been around since 1815, with the Hull Family growing produce there for over 90 years. Although apples are the farm’s signature crop (they even have an apple variety chart), White House has expanded to growing 13 other types of produce and selling over 3000 specialty food items! White House Fruit Farm is known for its homemade donuts, sliced to order deli meats and freshly pressed apple cider- all sold in the renovated 1881 barn farm market.

Whether you’re visiting for your weekly box of donuts, or for one of the many fall novelties, you should definitely make it a point to visit White House Fruit Farm this season. Click here for more fall events happening in Youngstown & Mahoning County.
