The Best Weekend of the Summer!

What does St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Youngstown State University, a comic book convention and gospel music have in common? They’re all a part of the Summer Festival of the Arts Weekend! This annual celebration of culture, art and music is back again as a staple of the Mahoning Valley’s festival scene. Starting on July 6 and ending on July 9, this jam-packed weekend has something for everyone. And we do mean everyone!

Through collaboration, six separate events have been branded as the Summer Festival of the Arts Weekend. Don’t let the one title fool you, though. The events are independent and are spread throughout the city over the whole weekend. Here’s what you have to look forward to during the best weekend of the summer!
