Parks & Gardens

There are beautiful gardens and parks throughout the Mahoning Valley, but the best of them all is Mill Creek Metroparks – the second largest metropolitan city park in the United States. Entering the tranquility of Mill Creek is like entering another world. The traffic and sounds of the city disappear and are replaced by an endless kaleidoscope of natural beauty and wonder. The park is home to Fellows Riverside Gardens (which includes the Davis Education & Visitor Center), Lanterman’s Mill, the Newport Wetlands, as well as Lake Glacier and Lake Newport.

Many types of grapes successfully thrive in the soil across the state of Ohio. And like these plants, the number of Ohio wineries and types of wine produced continues to grow. Whether you prefer red or whiite, we think you'll find a new favorite vintner with a visit to one of our wineries.
